    Hilarious

(EDIT: Not hilarious if you're old and mean).

Trying to ensure that me giving this its own thread wasn't the most worthless post on the thread?

Admit it: You're just jealous that it's 8:30 p.m. and still above 70 degrees here in the Southeast.

Huge paycut from his day job.

Before anyone gets his or her panties in a wad about how this is a reflection of the insanely football-obsessed culture at Alabama, I would argue that this says much more about what the students there think about the SGA. To all non-Greeks, it was a joke when I was there and apparently it still is.

    Hammer,

If it makes you feel better, I got a pretty good chuckle from this AND I couldn't be more jealous of 70 degree temps.
45 in March makes me miss Mississippi. That and paying $2,000-plus a month for a two-bedroom apt. in Brooklyn. Oh, the glamour.

    I am not old.

(And good for Jones. I thought that was cool as hell.)

My best friend since middle school lives in Manhattan and pays an even more ridiculous amount every month. He said he's going to live it up until he moves back toward the South in a few years, and I don't blame him.

I just got another laugh out of this by envisioning a scenario: Jones, on the Thursday before The Iron Bowl, telling Saban he has to leave film study a little bit early for an SGA meeting.

"But coach, we've got big stuff on the docket tonight..."
