    I wonder if future generations won't come to the consensus that the Iraq invasion was the low point in American foreign policy history?

    Doubt it. The Invasion marked the beginning of war on terror which has continued in
    many parts of the world and now through 2 Presidents

    Afghanistan was started before Iraq. Also, Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks, despite words to the contrary by a certain group of politicians.
