This one may be tougher than the National League. Can King Felix win the award with a sub-.500 record?

    1) Cliff Lee
    2) Felix Hernandez
    3) Rafael Soriano/Clay Bucholz

    3. Hernandez(plays on a terrible team)

CC Sabathia is creeping up a "bit"

King Felix with a special mention shout-outs to Carl Pavano who's put together an outstanding season for the Twinkies and CJ Wilson who has exceeded all expectations for the Rangers.

No way does it go to a pitcher with a losing record. No way.

My money is on CC unless Lee can win 17 or more.

    But it should.

David Price will be in the mix. Probably come down to him and Sabathia, determined by who wins more.

When in doubt, the Yankee wins.

Right. Instead it will be one of two guys who are 18-16 combined. They are so good they led the team they started the season with to the worst record in baseball.

W-L record is not the be-all/end-all, but it's certainly not irrelevant.

To pin even one speck of that on either of them is flat wrong.

Doesn't matter. They don't have good W/L records. They won't be getting many Cy Young votes.

If Hernandez and Lee finish distant to a bunch of jokers, then the outcry will be deafening.
