What in the hell is she about to sing? A set of Springsteen tunes?

having recently had a 7-hour layover at ATL, i can assure you that the quality of the concessions differs greatly depending on the concourse. exhibit a: two councourses have a ben & jerry's, while the others have either no ice cream venue, or a generic soft serve stand.

Unless you've got a pilot who thinks he is Jerry Lewis.

Thanks for all the suggestions. And as far as the Atlanta Airport food options, what's the deal with Chik-Fil-A being closed on a Sunday?

Founder is very religious. All locations are closed Sundays. Been that way forever.

Surely that's $100 million a year in untapped revenue, but Chick-fil-A will never budge on Sundays. Pretty good deal for employees too.

Better deal for shrewd managers. They can arrange to have weekends off.

Personally I find a few magazines is usually better when flying and having to deal with connections and layovers. There's no commitment needed to the writing so you can get up and go at a moments notice and then find your spot easily enough your next chance, and depending on the selection of mags, there should be enough variety to keep you entertained.

A few months ago I was all revved up to go to a C-F-A on my way to the airport (headed home to a place that doesn't have them). Forgot until I pulled into the parking lot that it was Sunday. I can still feel the heartbreak.
