Air conditioning

    had a physics prof. in college once prove it was more costly to turn up the therm. in the day and then cool it off when you got home at night. said keeping it at one temp. 24/7 was more cost effective. i couldn't prove it to you with hard numbers because i'm retarded when it comes to math, but i believed him.

    I live in an older building that is heated and cooled by one big boiler room. The air comes on in the middle of May and the heat some time I forget in the fall. I control the temperature in my apartment. Last year, the air went out for a couple days in the summer and this year they added a new chiller to the unit. Feels cooler.
