Agate font?

So for some reason over the years, my shop has never put agate or box scores in with stories. I've decided to start including box scores with stories and I'm trying to find the best font for it. I need something that will be small enough to get all the info in, but still clear enough to read.

I use Quark XPress. I was wondering what are some of the fonts and point sizes you all use. Thanks for your help.

    Times New Roman PS 8-point.

7-point Poynter Regular Condensed (or Helvetica Condensed). 7 on 7.5 leading.

And make that agate ragged right!

Interstate Light Condensed - and never go lower than 7 point font. Don't be afraid to use the condensed version of any sans serif font you choose.

I can't remember our font, but it's 6 on 6.5 leading, and it's justified (hi Shottie).

I think it's really hard to read, so don't do what we do.

TNR? You use a serif font for your agate?

Don't know what TNR means, but our paper has used that font since I've been here. Don't know why.

Don't you run any agate now? Don't you already have an agate font?

It's font geek shorthand for Times New Roman.

Vectoral Roman is a wonderful font for agate, especially numbers.

It's one of those odd fonts that looks best small and worse and worse the bigger you run it.

Duh, if I had a brain I'd be dangerous.
