    Haven't seen:

    16. All About Eve (1950)
    44. The Birth of a Nation (1915)
    54. All Quiet on the Western Front (1930)
    73. Wuthering Heights (1939)
    92. A Place in the Sun (1951)
    97. Bringing Up Baby (1938)

Tootsie does not belong on a all-time top 100 list, BTW.

Actually, I thought "Soapdish" was about as good as "Tootsie."

But I thought both were pretty darn good.

I'd happily see those, and "Mrs. Doubtfire," on the pretty darn good list.

I've only seen 16. I'm horrible when it comes to seeing movies.

A bunch are on my Netflix list, so hopefully I can make a dent soon.

The last one I saw was "Goodfellas". My first HD-DVD purchase.

I think my problem is more that if I'm going to watch a movie, there's a 98% chance it isn't going to be an old movie. And it's been that way as long as I can remember.

I was forced to watch most of them in my media and film classes.

Yeah, I had "Art of the Film" my junior year ... but a number of the films didn't make the list. Including "Fail Safe," which I mentioned earlier.

I've seen 99 of them. The only one I haven't seen is "A Clockwork Orange," which I'm afraid to see. I don't like Kubrick's films in general (although I do like "Dr. Strangelove") but everything I've read and heard about "Clockwork" is disturbing.

    That ... uh ... wins.

IMDB.com lists the movie at 187 minutes, though it sure felt longer when I watched it in my South in Film class.

When it premiered in Los Angeles, the title was The Clansman.

As for the list, I've seen most all of the films released since 1970 and a handful of the ones released before that.
