AFI top 100 films -- how many have you seen?

    I've seen 27 of them. Not even going to try to argue what should be on there and what should not.

    And while I get what people see in Citizen Kane and I didn't dislike it, there is a very large list of movies on and off that that I would watch again before that one...and was it really that fucking hard to figure out what Rosebud was?

    Well, it's not really a "funny accent" if you happen live in North Dakota or Minnesota.

    "Funny accents" come from the South. :)

    Not that you asked, but you should see Third Man and The Wild Bunch next. The Wild Bunch kicks serious ass, the ending is amazing.

    That's 42 of them, and I consider that fairly disappointing on my part. But in general, I think they gave "classic" films too much credence. I just believe that there have been more outstanding films in the past 40 years than they credited.

    Yet, having said that, one classic film which I couldn't believe was left off: "Fail Safe."
