Affidavit: Washington Times needs $40M annual subsidy from Unification Church

    The subsidy referenced in the slug makes up over half of the Washington Times' budget and is paid to the newspaper in weekly installments. Also, circulation has been dropping steadily since July 2008. Former editorial page editor Richard Miniter filed the affidavit as part of the lawsuit he filed against the Times.
