    Steelers over Jags
    Chargers over Titans

Colts over Chargers (though I wouldn't be surprised if SD won)
    Pats over Steelers

    Pats 42, Colts 38

Super Bowl (insert Roman numerals here):

Dallas 35, New England 31 (and the '72 Fins pop another cork).

The Steelers have no chance because they haven't covered a reciever since 1995.

But Jacksonville has no receivers, so that matchup's a push.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.

All their receivers are at least 6-4, just for starters.

Jaguars 24, Steelers 21 -- Closer than the last meeting, but Jags pull it out again with their running game.

Chargers 21, Titans 14 -- The only reason I expect this game to be close is because I have serious questions about Norv Turner and the Chargers' discipline in a big spot (see the 4th quarter of the playoff game against the Pats last year). But on talent, they're 2-3 touchdowns better than the Titans, so they should prevail.

Patriots 41, Jaguars 21 -- Brady may get hit some, but Jags' secondary will get burned for a few big plays, forcing Garrard into catch-up mode.

Colts 35, Chargers 17-- Talent-wise, this is very even. But Colts are smarter, better-coached (relatively speaking, anyway) are playing at home and have a vastly superior quarterback. Colts pull away in the second half.

Patriots 35, Colts 31-- Another classic. Playing at home this time, Pats win it on a late Brady TD pass.

Hey, they won a Super Bowl without covering one....too bad they can't stop the run any more, either.

Steelers over Jags by three. Florida team playing in Pittsburgh in January? I'm still thinking the Steelers can pull this one out.

Titans over Chargers by seven. Young over Rivers in the QB suck fest. Fisher is a heck of a coach as well.

New England over Tennessee by 14. Just too much for the Titans.

Indy over Pittsburgh by 10. Unless Ben plays the game of his life, Indy will be too strong.

Indy over NE by 11. NE finally implodes, and karma comes back ten fold. If NE does lose, it will be big. If someone does figure NE's offense out, the wheels will come off in a hurry.

I'm not sure my picks are even right. Are the 2nd-round matchups set in stone by brackets, or does everything depend on the wild-card games?
