    That's more of these guys than you think. I'm just saying Peterson would be lucky to have the success Campbell did.

    Of course, AP is asleep at the switch.

    Got off the phone with them 20 minutes ago and they say "they can't independently confirm the story." So I sit here with bupkus while the local TV can roll some B-roll and utter two sentences about "late-breaking news from Norman."

    Whoops, that's what I get for posting when I should be sleeping. I misread your post. I was thinking first rounders. You are correct. He was not in the top 10.

    Wouldn't Houston get shredded if they pick Peterson a year after not selecting Bush, though? Or do they not care?

    I'd say he'd be going to Detroit, but AP isn't a wide receiver.

    He's one of two names I've heard mentioned as possibilities for the Browns.

    Browns need a running back. More than any team in the NFL.

    Peterson runs very upright, and has a lot of zero and negative rushes. Not a real seasoned receiver.

    and peterson has injury problems. i don't see him doing that well in the nfl. he'll take too many big hits.

    I forgot about Droughns. It always seemed like he was going to be really good, but that might of just been a product of Denver's system.

    Droughns. Well, when he was healthy.

    Fun stat: The Browns rushed for 1,335 yards AS A TEAM last season.

    Nah, they don't need a running back. ::)
