    Charge with resisting arrest.

Hard to tell what will come of this, as details are pretty vague at this point.

Did I miss what arrest charge he was resisting in the first place?

    Nope. That's the vagueness.

    He should not have resisted.

I guess he couldn't run away.

If bond is only $1,000, why is he still in jail?

I wondered the same thing at first.

This brief says that he was released this morning:

    Drunk, I assume.

No, I was wondering why he hadn't been released.

Maybe he said his name was Tater Salad.

I know. I'm saying that's probably why they didn't release him right away upon posting of bond, if that's indeed the case.

People at the club have said Peterson got up to get some water, an officer told him he had to leave and they got into an argument because Peterson and his family had apparently done nothing wrong up to this point. Once Peterson calmed down, he started to leave and the cop ran and jumped on his back. A source, who seems to be an employee, has said they have multiple security cameras that caught the incident.
