I grew up loving this team. Then I wondered why they were ALWAYS on T.V. and (better) teams were left wanting.

I O'D'd on Notre Dame. Now I can't stand them. I watch their games just to see them lose.

I gotta say I've been enjoying this season.

    (sips gratefruit crystal light)

Haven't you been enjoying Notre Dame's deconstruction?

I disliked Notre Dame before disliking Notre Dame was cool.

  8. All the OGs love Crystal Light ...

It's a little known fact that Snoop wanted to use "Gin and Crystal Light" but "Gin and Juice" just flowed better.

    And yes, screw Notre Dame.

Just as much fun as seeing Notre Dame falter is to see them rise again. Loved the job Lou Holtz did, but the undeserved BCS bowls tend to wear thin after a while. I don't think Weis is a good enough coach to bring this team back again next year. Do you think a 7-5 or 8-4 record will cut it? Won't ND need to be a top 10 team for Weis to stay on after next year?

Actually, I'm not enjoying it much.
I was a student there in the Davie era, and that certainly shattered any illusions I had of Notre Dame's inherent football greatness. Then came the mediocrity of Willingham and now Blowhard Charlie. To be honest with you, it sucks.
I totally understand why people get sick of the place, root against it, feel it gets undeserved bowl bids (I, for one, would love to see them just win the friggin' Independence Bowl or something one of these years). Can't say I blame you.
That said, being 1-8 is not much fun, especially when you were raised on the place and watching every game, all the way through, is pretty much obligatory. Like Mass or something. Maybe tomorrow will be different. One can always hope.

As for Weis, he probably needs to win 7 or 8 games next year. But he's been recruiting well enough that if he does that, he'll survive. Expectations are big for '09, however.

and you suck yet one more time, bruh.

i always have been and always will be a U-dub fan no matter how bad the past (seems like a bazillion) few seasons have worked out.

you on the other hand ...

to be honest, i didn't expect anything more from you.
