Adele Vogue cover "controversy"

I said it before, I'll say it again. I think she's beautiful.

That being said, this is my favorite blog. Their take on it is largely mine.

If Adele looked like she does on Vogue, Rolling in the Deep might have never been written.

The rumor was linked on Egotastic yesterday.

 

A woman who wants to look skinny on a magazine cover? I'm shocked.

And if they were real "fans," they wouldn't care.

What we wish we were and want to be sells better than what we really are.

 

This is silly. She doesn't look as heavy as she really is because it's not a full shot of her. And I think the makeup is what makes her face look thinner. I think she is overweight, but she is still a beautiful woman. And immensely talented.

 

Then you ate the full smorgasbord and finished it off with a wafer-thin mint?

 

People's weight changes. Fact. I've been nearly 300 lbs and I've been (and hope to stay) a lot less. And through all of it I was the same person with the same talent and the same voice.

The funny thing is that since I've done what I was expected and lost a lot of weight, I haven't worked as a performer.
