I think he's going with actors in smaller roles that overshadow everyone else.

I'd say Philip Seymour Hoffman in Boogie Nights and a bunch of other stuff.

Great call on Edward Norton in "Larry Flynt"

Alec Baldwin in "Glengary Glen Ross"...he NAILS that part and he's up against a bunch of heavyweights (Jack Lemmon, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris, Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey)
    Sean Penn in "Carlito's Way"

  3. Jack Nicholson, A Few Good Men & Batman
Gary Oldman, True Romance & The Professional
John Turturro, The Jesus in The Big Lebowski
    John Malkovich in Dangerous Liaisons

Denzel kicked Tom's ass all over the screen in this one. Hanks should have stayed in comedy. As for actors who own the screen:

    Denzel Washington
    Gene Hackman

I'll take Actors Who Can't Act for $200, Alex.

  11. I kinda meant actors in non-starring roles who stole the show.

And yes, Paul Rudd was amazing in 40-year old virgin. His scene talking about his ex-girlfriend is amazing. And of course Steve Carrell was awesome in the movie. But I thought Rudd stole the show.

  12. HAHAHA and Jon Lovitz in City Slickers 2
