It's just assumed by the righties of course that the kid is too stupid to have any opinions of his own.

The butthurt in response to the response to Bachmann/Perry/Frothy spazzing out against the existence of gay people is one of the more amusing spectacle of this silly season.

Poor wingnuts.

 

Or the rag-doll dummies toted on stage by certain vice-presidential candidates.

 

I don't think kids should be manipulated by either side for politics.

I hate kids of candidates in commercials. Big deal, you're a mom or dad.

But it was PAINFULLY obvious that kid was uncomfortable in that situation and ol' mama was back there with a bigger "gotcha" look than any tabloid journalist.

 

I bet the child is a huge Muppets fan.

 

That's what the mom called him on that youtube moment.

 

Regardless of how much the kid was aware of what he was doing or if he was just used as a prop by his mother, Bachmann should have a standard amiable toss-off response for such situations, "I'm sure you love your mommy, little boy. Have a nice day and God Bless America," rather than a thunderstruck glassy-eyed gape-mouth look of astonishment followed by a butthurt dagger stare. Awwww did somebody say something nasty to the prairie princess again?
