Active Shooter at DC Navy Yard

Navy Yard on lock down.

 

Just got a random "Are you OK?" text and call from some family. Had no idea what they were talking about.

Hope this doesn't turn out badly. Ugh.

 

Was hoping it was some kind of false alarm, but MSNBC is showing a shit ton of cops/feds arriving and suiting up.

 

My sources say building 197 has been cleared with nothing found. Shot was reported, but no gunman was seen.

Update: Indications are there was no shooting. no victims found, no gunman seen.

 

Yeah, MSNBC is dialing down their reporting pretty quickly.

I guess folks really are jittery about potential terrorist attacks leading into the 4th of July weekend.

 

Shouldn't this have gone on the "Religion of Peace" thread?

 

Other report says two sources confirm a shooting inside 197.

 

NBC Washington reporting NO shots were fired.

DC police just gave the "all clear."

 

If only the libertards let the military openly carry weapons and station battleships off the coast this wouldn't have happened, if it happened.

 

I can't wait until smallpotatoes comes along with a report from some kooky website that alleges there was a shooting, but it's being covered up.

 

Are we sure there's only one gunman? Couldn't there be a second gunman? Does the Navy Yard have any grassy knolls?
