Accredited FIBA World Championship reporter available for freelance work

    Hello,

    I am a freelance reporter who will be in Turkey for the FIBA World Championship Aug. 28-Sept.12. I have my media credential and have booked my hotels in Istanbul and Izmir, where I will cover the first round. If you want a nicely crafted feature on a local NBA player who will play in the Worlds, then I am your man.
    I have written for The New York Times, Associated Press, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and slamonline.com. I am a weekly sports columnist for Sync, a weekly publication of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. I am a Turkish and American citizen, speak some Turkish and have worked as a volunteer Web site translator for the Turkish Basketball Federation.
