NYT reporter tweets that Sulzberger said it was an "issue with management." Forbes writes that she was fired for an abrasive style.

I guess the Times just found her too bossy.

It has been reported Abramson found out she was getting paid notably less than her male predecessor Keller and got in his face about it. Of course, firing her was the fastest way to make sure the world found out the Times' stance on gender equity is just so much hypocritical bullshit.

Gets better. She found out a male deputy executive editor was making more than she was and had sought legal counsel. Sulzberger really is a fucking moron as a CEO isn't he?
