A veggie in Texas? Aren't there laws against that?

If I had a gun for evey ace I have drawn, I could arm a town the size of Abiliene.

    Joe Allen's is good.

But it's definitely been overrated on this thread.

You'd think they serve Jesus' poop there or something.

You make a reference to Jesus' poop for post no. 666!

Now that Joe Allen's ex-wife opened up her own BBQ joint Joe's pretty much dropped to 3rd in Abilene BBQ places

Hard Eight Barbecue in Stephenville blows Joe Allen's away. And they sell Dublin Dr Pepper.

Why BUY Dr. Pepper when you can get beer FREE?? I like the Dublin DP as much as anyone, but come on, free beer trumps all

Sources tell me Steve Pate has quit after a month or so on the job.

Not sure if they are opening it back up or if they will talk to the other finalist.

Pretty sure Pate left them high and dry. He was supposed to cover Cooper this season, but it isn't his byline on Saturday's game story.

Edit: He apparently came into the office Saturday and quit right before the Cooper game was about to start. Classy.

The management there leaves a lot to be desired.
