ABC reporter arrested in Denver

    I described this to a cop friend this weekend and told him about the police pushing the guy into the street and telling him he was blocking traffic. He shook his head. "Oh, they used that old trick."

    Telling to me, of all the trumped-up charges made against the reporter, why wasn't loitering included? Hey Denver cops, if you're going to trump up charges, do it right.

    Agreed. I'm a print scribe but if a cop tells me to move, in order to diffuse the situation, I move to the other side of the street and then see if I can talk to him calmly.

    I don't stand there with a phone to my ear and tell the cop: Hold on.
