Speaking of privacy, I read somewhere that some employers are trying to require a blood test for non-smokers and requiring smokers to quit.
I'm not a smoker, but that just seems fucked up on too many levels.

We had a guy suspended a week without pay for sending an e-mail to an employee. Apparently, while the language was normal in the newsroom, it was too much for one of our dotcommers to handle, she complained, he got tossed.

So now we're all a little more careful not to offend.

It's embarrassing when you accidentally send a text to the wrong woman, however. Last Christmas Day, I accidentally sent a really horny text to my acupuncturist. It was a special holiday episode of Fail. I blame the Guinness.

I do. She's cute. Not hot, but cute. She was a good sport about the text-message error.

My buddies and I had to plan a recent fishing trip via text, because we all work a different shifts.

You can imagine Buddy No. 1's surprise when he received the following series of messages from friend No.2:

"Really pumped for this weekend. See you tomorrow."

"We are so having sex when I get home. Be ready. I'm done at 7."

"Dude, I think I sent that last text to you by accident."

"Holy shit am I a tool."

Some things you just can't blame on T9.

    T9 itself is another issue.
I accidentally alarmed a friend of mine recently when I told her in a text that I wanted to "kick" her pussy.

    LOUSY T9!!!
