A trip in the way-back machine to the days when AM top-40 radio ruled

Being someone around the age of 60-something who grew up in the DFW area, I stumbled on a link that brought back a ton of memories. Anyone have any special memories of the top-40 radio days of the '60s? Man, in Dallas, the KLIF deejays were freaking rock stars. If you didn't grow up in Dallas back then, this won't mean much. But every city had their own stations that dominated. It was a fun time.
