Isn't Northwestern the only Big 6 conference team to NEVER make the tournament?

I'll go Kentucky, North Carolina, Syracuse and Missouri.

2s to Kansas, Duke, Ohio State and Michigan State.

I'm facing an all-nighter tonight, writing opening-weekend projections on this thing. If Northwestern gets in, I'll have to stay away from the champagne for 18 hours. Drat.

    That's my bottom line.

Any team that is "snubbed" today can not bitch about being left out because at best they are somewhere around the No. 68 team in the country and that means they either (a) beat very few real teams (b) played very few real teams (c) lost too many games.

That's why I hate the whining that goes on every year at this time. It is ridiculous. If you aren't in the field, it is because you didn't win enough against the right people, period.

    Sorry, Blitz.

Have a feeling Mizzou will settle for No. 2 "just because."

Already calling weakest bracket being the one with Duke as a No. 2.

Which begs the eternal question: Which omission drives Vitale to tears this year?

Don't know, but I'll bet it'll be a team from one the "Big 6" conferences.
