    Doc was driving... we were going more than 80. I can promise you that.

    I've been doing that for years. It's a far more pleasant experience than going to the can at Hardees or the Stop-n-Shop.
     
  3. If you were going faster than 80, and a given truck was fluctuating between 60 and 80, how would it even be close enough for you to notice?

    And I'll second whomever it was that said earlier praise about truckers. They are the ones who know what they're doing — it's everyone else who causes problems.

    I wasn't going faster than 80. spup was exaggerating. When it's 65, I keep my speed between 73-75. He was going as fast as 85 at some points, hence the constant passing. There's also a fuel stop mixed in there.

    Had my digital camera had batteries, I would have shared some sights of the road. The TCM gas station would have been perfect.

    Trucks with heavy loads can't go as fast up hills, much as they would like to.
