    No, I want to hear this too ... If I was in a position to hire, why would you exclude anyone from any university as long as he or she showed the talent and the smarts to do the job well?

    so, i just heard whitlock bought media members a postgame spread of gates after the game.

    i guess he can't be too damned bad of a guy if he did that.

    I just called my buddy and he confirmed that Whitlock got a big platter of Gates for all the media for after the game.

    Nice gesture. One that only 1 percent of sportswriters can afford to do :)
