You people have wayyyyyy too much time on your hands. Any debate about the national championship that doesn't involve Florida or Ohio State is a waste of time. End of story.

Too much time on our hands? Waste of time? Perfect for this board, then!

So let me get this straight?

-- Florida struggles to beat OSU in an ugly game.
    -- A pissed-off Michigan blows Southern Cal's doors off.

You telling me Michigan couldn't make up the little bit of ground separating it and Florida? I think it's a real possibility.

No way in hell Florida is passed by a team that lost to the one it beat.

Even if Florida wins because of a bad call late in the game(Oklahoma vs. Oregon)?

That sounds like rematch by proxy.

Here's what will have to happen for Boise State to win an AP title:

    1. Win, obviously, by a rather large margin over Oklahoma
    2. Have Louisville struggle in its game against Wake Forest
    3. Southern Cal beat the holy hell out of Michigan
    4. Florida beats Ohio State on a horrid controversial call (a fifth down type play, for example)

Seriously, do any of you actually believe that there is any fucking way Boise State could be voted No. 1 anywhere but in fucking Idaho?
They could beat Oklahome 150-0 and have everything else "break their way" and they still aren't anywhere near No. 1.
    Let's not be stupid.
The OSU-Fla winner in No. 1 in both polls no matter how it goes down.

No, but it's nice to dream.
