Variety says so, but the page is loading very slow. (They have quotes.)

Considering the way Rodriguez shoved Boras underneath a moving train, it was bound to happen.

Rodriguez quickly dropped Boras and, after seeking the advice of investment guru Warren Buffett, negotiated a 10-year, $275 million deal to continue playing with the Yanks. On Sunday's broadcast of "60 Minutes," Rodriguez said he was upset with the way Boras handled the announcement.

Biglead, you might wanna note that you pulled that from Variety's story.

Ah, why would you want to note where you get information from? Just copy, paste and pass it off as your own work! You'll never get caught, not in a digital age!

Because Variety wasn't mentioned in the initial post.

sorry, wicked, but biglead's first post said variety had the story. it was pretty obvious to me his quote came from that piece. then he linked.

plus, this is a message board. I'd hardly call that plagiarism.

    Anyway, back to Boras ...

    so his recent timeline:

-New Yorker article paints him as a nutjob
-Creates news of A-Rod opting out during World Series game
    -Dropped by Kenny Rogers
-ARod does deal with Yanks without him
    -Dropped by A-Rod

Guess the Andruw Jones contract could be thrown in, since he wanted 7 years. But that's up for debate.

    What's next?

You're right ... I was just looking for a reason to bust someone's balls.
