A question about indentation

    Why is virtually nothing on the 'net indented?

    Because HTML/browsers default to left-justified type.

    in DTI you have to hit the space before each graf

    They also teach you to have two spaces after a period, while in newspaper land it is one space.
    Lester, what do you have your students do for that? Is it two spaces? Or just one?

    If it was me, I wouldn't teach an indent and explain how in most pagination programs, the computer sets it for you automatically.

    For advanced study, you should get into tabs, and explain why when you turn something in, it should only have one tab in the copy and not have the columns of tabbed material align.
    But that's only if you want to blow their mind holes.
