Sort of like musftard's bad sense of humor and ftardness. One flaw keeps the other one from shining like the sun.

So in three playoff games, Belichick shoved a cameraman, some Patriots mocked Shawne Merriman and the Chargers at midfield when shaking hands would have been the smart move, and now Belichick brushes off Peyton Manning when Manning wanted to shake his hand following that game.

    Stay classy, New England.

Plus, he was somewhat assholish in dealing with Solomon Wilcotts in the postgame

Funny, we all thought it was pretty cool when Roy Williams shed the straitjacket of coaching PC after the '03 title game.

My question with all this "classy" talk, who does it matter to? Do the general public who just blindly follow their team really care? Don't they all just think their coach is great if he wins and will defend anything they do? I just feel like this is something the media cares more about than the general public, probably because they get to see these coaches and players more and on a personal level and can see if they really are d-bags.

Here's another thing about these dustups I don't understand. Reggie Bush took a bunch of criticism for taunting the Bears on his touchdown run yesterday. Leaving aside the ugly idea such behavior is wrong only if you lose, the complainers said Bush's mistake was making the Bears mad.
Wasn't that Bush's idea in the first place? What's the point of taunting an opponent if you DON'T think it'll make them mad?

ESPN has been a much bigger rider of "classiness" than the print media has.
