    I am doing part-time work for a new-media publication, geared more to sales than straight journalism, and their strategy over the year has changed to developing everything as an app and then giving an iPad to everyone with a subscription. I thought it was brilliant.

    I like this very much. Of course, the app itself is going to have to be appealing to readers. Newspapers have always had such poor websites and I don't know if they can adapt any better to the mobile world.
