A new Tiger Woods book

    It's pretty good. While he got unlucky with Tiger missing half the year, he got really lucky that Tiger won that U.S. Open, especially in dramatic fashion. The book would have been about 95 percent less compelling without that.

    In a similar way, I used to wonder what would have happened to Friday Night Lights (the book) if Permian would have lost the coin flip at the end of the regular season. Still would have been a decent book, but not nearly what it was.

    Yeah, I can't imagine any scenario where this could be an interesting read.

    If the first page contains a little rascals joke and the word "dictate" I might change my mind.
