What was it about the former Mets GM's affair that made it newsworthy? Was there a police report attached to that one? For some reason I think there was.

Will interesting to see how the NY Post plays it since they have typically protected The Yankees on this type of stuff.

For Cash's sake hopefully she pass the NY Post front page test. Based on player acquisitions his eye for talent is inconsistent.

 

Probably because Howard Rubenstein handles/handled PR for the Yankees/George Steinbrenner and for Murdoch/the Post.

I was thinking of Phillips.

 

He was worth every cent.

A total New York character. An independent PR firm, focused solely on New York companies and individuals.

His sons are good to. They hold dinners where they invite clients and other important folks. Networking at the highest level.

Deals get done. They don't get a cut, but they get incredible loyalty.

 

Phillips case became news when The Met employee he had affair with sued the Mets for sexual harassment.
Clearly Phillips had a thing for low hanging fruit.

Joe McIlvaine was arrested for nude sunbathing.
