    Is this article surprising in the least given that:

    A) The industry has been in a downward spiral for 10 years;

    B) The economy has followed for two years;

    and the biggie

    C) Journalism schools were seeing record enrollments during that time?

    Anyone who got a J-degree in that time and planned to use it, I have to wonder about their ability to see trends, look at the data and draw a conclusion. In short, I'd wonder about them as journalists.
