Recognize that 99 percent of those elected decision-makers in Washington do not have the best interests of the American people at heart. That's why in November we need to put new people in those positions -- someone who's not acting strictly for the benefit of big business and furthering their own legacies. Vote for no incumbent, regardless of which party they represent.

  4. I would feel more confident in the economic figures cited if they included the cost of the two wars in which we are currently engaged.

No, you're wrong. Listen to the brains of this board: Liberals are here to save your day.

And of course, there's people who have very little humor in their lives. Such as yourself. And you're probably one of those Hannity speaks of - liberals who are very, very miserable inside. Now you tell me, what's more pitiful?

  7. Sean Hannity's academic career?

Sean Hannity's done quite well without whatever you think he should have, thank you. Which only goes to show that plain ol' common sense is the key to understanding what's wrong with America.

  9. Then why can't you understand that Sean Hannity and his ilk are a big part of what is wrong with America?

Because I believe in a line of thought where majority rules, and that majority sides with Hannity. Your side wouldn't have a pot to piss in if the war was more successful in behalf of the U.S. Trace the history: Those opposed to the war were not opposed on the grounds of winnability, they're just relics from the 60s who build policy on appeasement. That group never changed. The groundswell of support they believe they have from the American people is based on the lack of quick success in the operation and, admittedly, some mismanagement at the executive level. But if you think all these people ascribe to the appeasement tactics of the fringe left, you're wrong.

If Sean Hannity truly does know what's wrong with America, then we are all truly doomed. Fortunately, he doesn't, so he's a parody of a real American.

And Reagan would have had zero chance in 1980 had the hostages been released quickly, had inflation dropped to 2.0 percent and had interest rates dropped to 5.0 percent.

    Your point?
