For those SportsJournalists.commers who are XM subs, it was announced that the original Casey Kasem American Top 40 shows will be running on channels 7 and 8 starting Aug 4 with a marathon, then a time of Thursdays at 10 p.m. et, and Sunday at noon.
If you grew up in the 70s or 80s, these are classics.
And if anyone has a link to the famous Casey meltdown, feel free to post it.

Think that's available to Canadian XM subscribers? 'Cause if it is, I may have to finally take the plunge. I grew up on AT40 and would love to hear Casey count 'em down again.

    Paging PaseanaARG, paging PaseanaARG...

I am SO tuning into those shows. God, how I love my XM.

And let me echo Patchs: Someone, please, post that Casey rant.

If Canadian XM gets channels 7 and 8, you're good.

Is that that the 70s and 80s channels? I get my XM through DirecTV so don't have the straight channels 7 and 8.

Yes, or channels 804 and 805 on DirecTV.
And thanks for inspiring an idea, recording them on DVD, then transferring them to my laptop, then SD card, then Treo.
