    Never stopped me and you'd have to be a fool to let it. But there ae a lot of fools out there.

    I wanted to respond harshly when that was posted but I opted not to. If that's his defense, it's nothing more than a cop-out.

    Finally, Fredrick is vindicated. I've been telling you all along this is the way it is. Every sports writer I know at our shop works 60 and gets paid 40. Or 70 and gets paid 40. Other newspapers too.

    Jeff Bradley will be Toronto FC's new director of communications. I'm not sure how that will allow him to be home with his teacher wife at the Jersey shore, or watch his younger son play high school soccer and his older son play baseball at Furman.

    But I'm glad any journalist has found stable, full-time employment.
