    It'd be nice.

AJ McCarron sure isn't The Next Tom Brady when it comes to the ability to say nothing of note, ever.

McCarron making the rounds on radio row and pulling no punches on past season's
failures. "Too many selfish players with a sense of entitlement" Talent was there
but the younger players don't get what it takes. They come in as 5 star recruits with
    a sense of entitlement."

Gotta give Boom credit. He's been banging this Super Bowl week stuff hard.

Almost like the week more than the game itself.

It was funny to hear McCarron talking about "these kids," and how they have all this "social media exposure these days, before they ever do anything at the college level." He sounded like a cranky 37-year-old.

He pretty solidly threw everyone on the Alabama roster who wasn't a senior under the bus.

Breitbart's successor having a wet Tebow dream.

“I think that's one of the things that is wrong with recruiting out of high school,” said McCarron. “You have guys who have never played the game of football rating these guys that they are a 5-star, because they're sitting behind a computer screen watching their highlight film. Well, their highlight film is supposed to be good, the last time I checked. That's the kind of thing that ticks me off about recruiting and when these kids come in and they're 5-stars and they expect to play right off the bat. It's a little entitlement and when they don't play off the bat, they get a little ticked off and they don't want to work.”

Hate to say it, but I agree with every word of this.

Most of the top recruiting scouts played at least high school football, but he otherwise has a point.

A lot has changed in the 5 years since McCarron was a true freshman. And the upperclassman
when McCarron was a freshman would have been recruited 3-4 years before that. No national fanfare that there is now.

Glad some things have not changed. :)
