    Rick Cleveland has every reason to big-time those of us whole toil in the smaller burgs in the Mississippi media, but he's never done so. He's always been friendly and helpful to me whenever I've been around him, and he's someone I consider a friend.

    Maybe it helped that I always got along famously with his dad, Ace Cleveland, who was the SID at Southern Miss when I was in school there.
