Exactly. These people here are acting as if the kid had no work ethic and had someone do all his schoolwork for him. It's really sickening how many people now denigrate the results of hard work.

They're at the plate, getting an education and a chance to make a good life for themselves. The fact that their lunch is subsidized doesn't mean they can't listen to the teacher, do their homework and make the best grades they can.

Thirty-five years ago I was sitting next to a kid in high school and talking to him about crappy Love Boat episodes. He wound up President of Google China and last year was named one of Time's 100 most influential people in the world.
