A great, and accurate, line about the election of Sarkozy in France.

ding ding ding!!!! We have a winner.....the fact is the people of the US dislike the French much more than the French dislike Americans. The average Frenchman differentiates between politics and the people, not true in the U.S.

You have to admit, the whole "Freedom Fries" nonsense was, well, nonsense.

Some other interesting things going on in this wacky world of ours:

The Scottish National Party won a majority of seats in the Scottish election. Can you spell "separation"?

And now there's power sharing between Ian Paisley and Sinn Fein in Northern Ireland. Hell has indeed frozen over.

And the leader of the separatist Parti Québécois, André Boisclair, resigned today.
The separatist movement is officially dead, methinks.

I'm sure if they could read your criticism they would probably just close shop. Right.

Just saying, Yawn. You seem to be doing what you accuse Fenian of doing: auditioning for a spot on your local talk-radio station. Alas, the aforementioned beat you to the dial.

Nope, they'd need to form a coalition. They only won about 40% of the seats in the assembly, one more than Labour. Nothing's going to come of it unless they can group with one of the English parties. And they're not going to go to the Conservatives or Lib Dems.

So you're admitting those people can't read?
    I'm not surprised.
