A girl named Buck gets hit by a deer at XC meet

    And she's from a local high school around here.

    The story has been on CNN and MSNBC the last two days.

    She was running at the region meet in Lebanon two weekends ago and a deer jumped out of some bushes and hit the girl. They thought she had two broken legs because of it, but they weren't and she was able to run in the state meet this past Saturday.

    Have any of you seen anything this strange/unusual happen?

    I don't know if we would have had to worry about the deer mounting her, unless it was a gay deer.
    The headline said it was a doe that ran into her. But the story didn't specify if it was a doe or a buck that ran into Buck.

    It was a joke. If a hunter were to hit a deer he would take it home and mount it on his wall. I was pulling a little Far Side with a double entendre for good measure. Thanks for spoiling the humor by making me have to explain it. ;)
