A fine day for Miami-bashing

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by hondo, Sep 17, 2006.

  1. Coker will last the season, but Miamuh would be well served by hiring Schiano away from Rutgers. He's young, has something to prove, and has a strong foothold in Florida recruiting -- he used to be an asst. coach at the U, and half of his Scarlett Knights are from Florida.

First, as noted by others, Coker's doing nowhere this season.

    After that, well ...

Meanwhile, if I'm Rutgers, I'm starting to think about a search committee.

Well, they've won 16 games in the last 3 seasons, which is about 14 more than their historical average.

    keep this in mind:

Schiano is a Rutgers alum, which might hav some influence. Also, Miami firing a guy that won a BCS Title might put them in a situation that Nebraska was in after Solich won nine games and was shitcanned.
