A design blunder

    K, be honest. How many of you were secretly cringing, wondering if it was a page you designed before you clicked on this thread?

    That said, YIKES! How do you not catch that?

    I thought this thread was going to be about the Sun-Sentinel redesign.

    Whoever put the barbecue photo above that story was busy and just trying to get ahead. Or maybe a leg up.

    I can't believe that went to print. I gotta think the person who signed off on it liked the humor of it. Maybe it was someone's planned last day at the paper?

    It happens more often than it should, though not usually this obvious.

    Folks at some newspapers do not think about what images say. It's sad.

    Editing and design need to treat photographs as though they are more than just colored or gray boxes.

    That's the ugliest looking bbq I've ever seen, BTW.

    Dead people would probably be tastier.
