A billion inches on Rich Rodriguez

So, is anyone running the 75-inch version of the AP's exclusive behind-the-scenes time with Rich Rodriguez prior to today's kickoff?

Or perhaps you only have space for the "abridged" 50-inch version of the story.

Who in the hell is the AP serving with this story???

  2. Rich Rodriquez?

I'm guessing Rodriguez would prefer a little less spotlight right now, though.

Yup. Michigan AP is out of control. ... Who freaking cares?

Every paper in Michigan covers the Wolverines anyway, so it's not like their state papers need this.

The Lansing State Journal does not cover the Wolverines. Carry on.

  7. There are probably a lot of Michigan papers well-served by such a story, even if they can't run the entire thing. Others may cover the team, but the AP reporter was the only one who had the access needed to write that story.

    They can run it online.

In the last two weeks, Michigan AP has run about a dozen preview photos of the U-M team.

Every single one was of Rich Rodriguez.

The pity party the UM/Utah broadcast team was throwing for Mrs. Rodriguez Saturday afternoon was pathetic. Rich the Pig screwed West Virginia bareback, and expects sympathy instead of abuse? What a joke.

    A) Rich Rodriguez's move to Michigan is a pretty big deal.

    B) What do you care what AP does? Don't like it? Don't run it. I'm guessing the AP reporter probably isn't going to like something you ran today but he's not going to start a thread on it.

  12. What bothers me (most recently) about Rodriguez is his inability to use the talent he has. Six-foot-seven quarterback with a rocket arm? Fuck 'em, he can't run the spread.

Rodriguez is a one-trick pony with no real football sense.
