What's the deal with this? Why/when did it start and is there a way to avoid it?

    It's making some posts unreadable.

Thank god. waterytart will be glad to see this.

I've never seen it, but she said the same thing you did. Apparently on some posts, that just replaces large chunks of text?

    Weird.

What IJAG said. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Unfortunately, no suggestions. :(

I'd definitely PM Webby about it then. Maybe he can put someone on it.

Wait, are you saying that only some of us are seeing this?

At first I though it was censoring cuss words or something, but I don't see any pattern.

I'm using a mac and its Safari browser if that means anything.

  8. i've only seen that when i use chrome, not firefox.

OK, looking at a recent post of mine, it looks like its subbing _LongTerm_ for words with an apostrophe in them. Don’t know why.

Except that the word don't in my above post came out fine. Weird.

I use XP and Firefox, and I've got that problem every once in a while.

I"m getting it too. At first it was just subbing for really long weblinks in some posts. Now it's showing up in text.

I'm also on a Mac and using Safari.

Mac / Safari here, too. Does that make it a trend story? ;D
