Other leaders were met at the airport by the King. President Obama wasn't:

Eh, somebody tell the cartoonist that Russia dropped the red star emblem (and the red/gold color scheme) and brought back the double-headed eagle many years ago.

Somebody also needs to tell the cartoonist that Obama wasn't the one who made a Mission Accomplished speech aboard a ship.

And let Iran gain control of all that Saudi Oil? That's the problem, as much as the Saudis deserve to be told to fuck off, we still need em. They've had us over a barrel, because of billions of barrels.

Kristof doesn't care about the 28-pages, but he does point out how backwards Saudi Arabia is, and how that backwardness spreads bigotry:

America needs a new war, so let's go invade Saudi Arabia or something. This issue of the 28 pages and the 9/11 Saudi role -- 15 of 19, that damning 60 Minutes report which pointed out how laughable it was that all of these terrorists got coincidental assistance from Saudi officials -- is being pressed by people from both sides of the aisle and from within the defense community. It's shaping up to be a perfect storm that just needs a trigger. Saudi Arabia is more backass culturally than Iran or Iraq, so it won't be difficult to bang the drum to oust "the other." Seems like the ducks are falling into a row.

    C'mon.

How many Muslim nations do you think Obama will bomb/drone strike/invade/put boots on the ground.

What's the number up to by now anyway?

Was thinking more along the lines of his successor, be it Drumpf or Clinton. It just seems all too convenient that this Saudi angle is getting such renewed interest in disparate quarters. The suppression of their involvement required cooperation in just as many diverse segments, so I guess the reverse shouldn't be surprising.
