    Just waking up after going through the initial phases of this. Since the quake there have been 37 aftershocks -- of 5.5 or greater. That is mind-boggling. And the pictures of the tsunami ... amazing.

    And the anchor is asking "if this is all we're getting, is there something wrong with the warning system? Did we need to keep people up all night?"

    Weather Channel not a bad alternative. Right now discussing some kind of experimental warning system in Japan that went off 30 seconds ahead of the quake.

    I got CNN International going.

    The video footage is pretty amazing. People in Japan are already posting videos to youtube and you've also got news video, pictures. Wow.

    I hate agreeing with the guy, but BBC World News is definitely the way to watch news that isn't happening in the US.
