The Northwest Florida Daily News in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., is seeking a skilled and versatile sports editor to lead and manage a small sports department. The sports editor will coordinate and deliver extensive coverage of the area's sports scene both in print and online. The editor must be passionate about covering our local prep athletes and teams, community sporting events and outdoors activities. Ability to perform on tight deadlines and to work across multimedia platforms is required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a necessity. Know a thing or two about this place, although my info is quite dated. Colin is good people, but the paper took quite a hit during the Great Recession. Feel free to PM if interested.

It looks like they have a couple sportswriters on staff. Does anyone know if this is an instance where one of those two would likely move up?
