The Jim Rome Show and Jim Rome Is Burning are looking for a writer(s). Looking for someone who comes at it from different angles, knows sports thoroughly, and is hungry, competitive and driven. Must be willing to grind. Tremendous potential payoff and upside for the right candidate(s).
    Pay commensurate with experience.

Submit resume, cover letter and writing samples to jimromejob@yahoo.com.

Is this job posting for real? Methinks this show doesn't require much "writing", and what's the deal with the tremendous potential payoff? It's not like this is a show waiting to be discovered. Anybody know more?

A source tells me the potential payoff is learning to grow and manicure the perfect goatee.

This is the perfect job for someone whose main source of income currently consists of collecting aluminum cans along the road.

You have to repeat that about a dozen times to be effective.

I'm always disappointed when I tune into Jim Rome is Burning and it's not 30 minutes of Jim Rome running around on fire.
